Marriages ... Halal or Haram?
ok say you have reached a point in your life where you have got ur education degree, work experience but have a lil further to develop and bearing in mind your a girl and the guy you marry will be able to provide everyone but u want to stand up on ur own feet

but your folks are not approving .. they don't care how far you want to go and want to get u married off but mentally your not ready and you need more time .. and being the eldest your under pressure as it will have to be you first before other daughters ...

would that be classed as force marriage? and if so .. would it be halal or would ur folks be in trouble for doing what they are doing?

i know you should keep your folks happy and respect them .. but marriage is something which i feel should not be forced in to ...

whats the views on that? and how would you tackle it with folks?

I think that you should actually listen to your parents advice, because after all-- they love you and want what's best for you as well. Remember that marriage is a written thing and part of your destiny. But, of course you shouldn't be forced. Your thoughts should count for something because it is your life and the man you'll be with forever right???
Anyhow, for those girls who are already married (arranged marriage) they should try to make it work especially if the guy really cares about them, cuz there's not many nice guys around---trust me on that.

GOOD LUCK!
